Do you know yourself “well enough” to rebrand yet?

I want to answer an FAQ that often comes up when talking to prospective clients:

Do I know myself and my business well enough to get a brand kit? I’m in a transition, and I'm not completely sure who I am, or what is next, right now.

It’s hard to be inside a transition and not have the distance needed to objectively define yourself. You can’t read the label from inside the bottle. You can’t see what’s at the end of the tunnel when it’s still just a speck of light in the distance.

However, it’s also the sweet spot to bring in guidance from someone who knows what to look for — and how to pull it into the light.

Most of my clients come to me in this exact murky, funky space. You’re very much not alone.

That’s why the first thing you’ll do when you book your brand kit is complete a brand questionnaire. It’s designed to illuminate the through lines of what makes your work yours (and has been fine-tuned over countless client consultations).

Then, I’ll walk you through exploring any holes or questions you run into when we meet for our session.

Once it's delivered, the kit itself will be a great container for exploring the new you, and how they want to be expressed. It gives you a baseline, a playpen to try things out in.

By giving yourself a clear aesthetic to start from, you can get going, begin creating and experimenting and learning, instead of lingering at the overwhelming edge of allllll the possibilities.

Maybe most importantly, your brand is allowed to evolve and change with you. It should! It’s not set in stone. You can always take what you like and leave the rest, or even come back to it later.

So, if you’re in the muck and unsure if you really want to take the plunge, my questions to you are:

Are you open to reflection and guidance from an outside source right now?

Does some structure, a starting point, and a map sound supportive to you right now?

Is it worth it to get a jumpstart in this creative process toward clarity, regardless of the outcome?

If you answered yes to all of the above, YOU ARE READY.

I leave the rest up to you.
